About the Property

Kuro Cabins is a secluded cabin nestled on rewilded land in Cornwall. It is ideal for a peaceful getaway for two adults and welcomes well-behaved dogs.

Please note that the cabin is situated on natural, uneven terrain with steep drops, a stream, and potential hazards like low branches. Children & infants are not permitted due to safety concerns. We recommend bringing a torch as we have limited lighting due to planning restrictions and the impact on wildlife.

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cabin and on the surrounding land.

Booking and Payment

Reservations can be made online through our website using the Stripe payment system.

The total booking fee is required at the time of booking.

Kuro Cabins reserves the right, without giving reasons to refuse/cancel a booking.

Bookings receive an automated email upon booking, please check it for errors and contact us within 5 days via email if there are any problems.

Our cancellation policy is:

Cancellations more than 70 days before arrival will be charged nothing but will be charged 80% of the total Reservation cost if they cancel within 70 days of arrival. If the guest doesn’t show up, they will be charged 100% of the total Reservation cost.

Occupancy

The cabin is only suitable for two adults (over 18 years of age). No additional guests or visitors, including children/infants are permitted at any time.

Pets

Well-behaved dogs are welcome and must be added at the time of booking. There is an additional fee of £25 per stay for extra cleaning which will be charged at the time of booking. Due to roaming livestock in nearby fields, they must be kept under control at all times.Owners are liable for any damage your dog causes to the cabin, furnishings or the surrounding farmland and livestock. Please contact us if this occurs.Kuro cabins cannot be held responsible for any accident or injury to a pet during their stay.

Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for keeping the cabin clean and tidy during their stay. If the accommodation unit is not left in an acceptable condition and Kuro cabins has to carry out extra cleaning above and beyond what they would normally expect £50 will be charged.

Please respect the peace and quiet of the surrounding area and avoid excessive noise. All rubbish and recycling must be disposed of in the designated bins by the parking area. Open fires are strictly prohibited anywhere on the property other than in the designated firepit.

Guests are only allowed within the field where the cabin is situated and must not trespass on neighbouring land.

Please be aware of the natural hazards present on the rewilded land and exercise caution at all times.

Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control and within the cabin field, and their waste must be cleaned up responsibly. Please bring your own dog bed and bowls.

For damages or breakages: Guests are advised to check the accommodation unit/s for any damages or breakages found at the beginning of their stay and to inform us of any that they find. Please let us know if anything gets broken so we can replace it for our next guest. Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents beyond normal wear and tear that occurs during their stay. The cost of repairs or replacements will be invoiced to the guest directly. In the event of disagreement regarding the cause or cost of damage, the owner and guest will attempt to resolve the issue amicably. If an agreement cannot be reached, both parties may seek external resolution through mediation or other forms of dispute resolution.

The cost of replacing keys lost by guests is charged at £25 each. 

Kuro cabins cannot be held responsible for the guest’s personal property which is not locked away inside the cabin. Guests bringing their own bicycles should ensure they are locked and left outside the cabin, please bring locks with you. Kuro cabins cannot be held responsible for damage or theft to bicycles left on the property.

Owner Access and Responsibility

We reserve the right to enter the cabin for maintenance or other urgent reasons at any time, but we will endeavour to give you reasonable notice whenever possible.

We are committed to making your stay as enjoyable as possible. Should any issues arise during your stay, please do not hesitate to contact us immediately so we can address them promptly.

Additional Information

Wi-Fi is available but may be limited due to the remote location.

Firewood, kindling and fire lighters are included in your stay.
